Mexico

Keegan and I traveled to Cabo San Lucas Mexico in August 2008. We attend my brother Reuben and his wife Tonya's wedding. It was so.....fun! We were very blessed to have a great family that made it all possible. This was also one of the few time Keegs and I have actually went somewhere alone yes that's right alone!! We tried not to be too busy and just relax as much as possible, this included many spur of the moment naps. WOW! For one who really likes her sleep it was perfection! The first day we got there we were a little sluggish but went to the beach party with the rest of the people there for the wedding. Then Keegs and I decided to pull out the swimming gear and hop in the ocean. (for Keegs this included a poke-a-dot speedo.....Nah just kidding)Whitney, Braiden, Kyle and Ashley all ended up joining us and it was a blast. I had so much fun, the current is so strong that it can just keep pulling you out but once you figured out the body surfing part.... super fun! Day two we went snorkeling and it was also fun on the way out and the way in plus the first 20 min of snorkeling then the sea sick part :( yes I threw up over the edge of the boat then layed down to sleep. Day 3 the wedding it was on the beach over looking the ocean at sunset. It was a simple but elegant ceremony with close friends and family standing with toes in the sand. We then went to the wedding dinner on the veranda that was also overlooking the beach and ocean with torches and lights around us and very pretty center piece's in coral and pink color's. We were served a great dinner and then the wedding party jumped in the pool. Yes the bride was still wearing her dress. (none of my picture turned out of this) Keegs and I then changed into our swimming suits for a drip in the pool ourselves. There was this whale water slide that when you first look at it you think oh nothing big well then you go down it and realize the thing flat shoots you out. Super fun again! ;) Day 4 we went shopping and purchased lots little items to bring home. It was extremely warm and we were basically dripping in sweat. This was also the day that i went para sailing for my 30th birthday! My brother and his family gave this to me for my birthday and it was so... fun and I would do it again any day of the week. The view's from up there were spectacular!! Day 5 we headed home. We traveled back to the states with my cousin Shelly it was fun to spend time with her. Yes we live close to each other but don't always get to do stuff together. I have to say I was not to hot on the food in Mexico and the $30.00 Burger King meal at LAX was more than worth it or I was just really hungry. When we got back to Seattle it was great to see my three babies safe and sound with uncle Ryan and aunt Nicole. I'm not to sure they realized we were gone because they were having such a great time! I heard all about the fun for the next few weeks and they really didn't understand why they weren't going back every week to visit their cousins in Seattle.
